MadaTobiweek made me realize just how fun our little corner of fandom is, and just how much more content I want for this ship. So! I decided I would host a MadaTobi challenge of my own.
In a remix challenge, participants are assigned another author or artist, and they choose a work from that person to remix as their own. Maybe they write that work from another POV, maybe they pick a small part of the work to expand on, or maybe they pick something entirely different! There’s an entry on Fanlore about it, if you’re interested in finding out more.
Traditionally, remix challenges are for fanfiction only, but I have decided to modify the rules so fanart and fancomics can be remixed as well. You will be allowed to only remix fanart into fanart if you want to – but you can also remix fanart into fanfic, or fanfic into fanart. I’m going to let the writer or artist choose what they are willing to do!
If you’re interested in participating in this challenge, please answer the poll. The actual remixing will happen during the first two weeks of the month selected, and sign ups will happen on the last two weeks of the previous month.

People are having trouble understanding what “big dick energy” means and tbh it’s really hard to explain because it’s sort of a feeling you get from someone, an aura more than anything else so I made this helpful graphic to hopefully make it easier to understand
BIg Dick Energy: Has nothing to prove, and just does their own thing.
Small Dick Energy: Has everything to prove, and tries to wave their “dick” in everyone’s face. Lord Farquad is another good example.

WOG – crossover project with FFVII, sequel to Crossing Flight. Iruka (and a bunch of other ninjas) end up stranded on an unfamiliar world. (crossover pairings) – 3837 words
One For the Past, One For the Present – Hard to describe. Kakashi wakes up to a post apocalyptic world where the moon is broken and everyone seems to have gone mad. (surprise pairings) – 4051 words
Dragonborn Madara (working title) – Pretty self explanatory. Wanderer Madara travels to Skyrim, only to get caught up in all of the country’s problems, alongside a strange elf who has no sense of self preservation. (MadaTobi) – 3570 words
The Man Who Sold the World – Time travel in which Kakashi takes the position of Hokage at the “tender” age of seventeen. Aaand makes Danzo his “assistant” in a blatant effort to force the man to retire. (KakaObi) – 3427 words
Bakeneko (working title) – Obito dies and wakes up four. He’s really bad at pretending to be a child, yet no one seems to suspect a thing. And for some reason, the cats won’t leave him alone. (gen for the most part, because everyone’s kiddos. there’s a few crushes going around, and background adult romances, but…) – 14030 words
A Path Once Denied – Instead of moving on after Kakashi found him in the afterlife, Sakumo is given the option to try a new path. One he once denied. Life. (I expect it to be SakuOro, but I’m not 100% on that) – 4249 words
Mirror-verse (working title) – After breaking a magic mirror, Tobirama returns to a pivotal point in his childhood. (probably MadaTobi, because I’m trash) – 2691 words
Under the Earth (working title, first part of the Healer-verse) – Tobirama and Izuna must put aside their differences when a mine collapses on them. There’s a time and place for fighting your mortal enemy. That place isn’t trapped beneath thousands of tonnes of rock. (this one’s gen, but dark) – 2657 words
Healer-verse (second part) – A year after the incident in the mines, Izuna collapses. The clan healers are baffled, and seem to think his time is nearing its end, so Madara goes in search of a wandering healer that’s been said to work miracles. (MadaTobi) – in planning stages only, because I’m easily distracted
I maybe got a little to into this, but I love all my plot babies, and figured I should actually share a little bit of what they’re all about. x’D

Plz ignore the ask where I’m flailing about this impossible thing, because I cracked it down! I want to believe I did crack it down. I did a little of research about the Ninja World Wars because Kishi’s logic is utter garbage and Math simply doesn’t add up with some of the years in which he sets the Wars apart.
I took Jiraiya as my main reference point because he fought 3 wars and survived 2 ½ and interacts WITH THE MAYOR PART OF THE KEY CHARACTER INSIDE THIS STORY. All of this starts, ends and FOCUSES with Jiraiya, I keep adding Key Characters to prove some logic with the research that I did and the Math that I did.

In the Wikia it says that the first war lasted 10 years and the peace time was that of 20, but that is really impossible since we see Tunade interact with Hashirama (I speculate that she’s like 3-4 on the flashbacks we’re given) We have a total of 20 years marking the Period of the first War, 10 years of conflict + 10 of peace. The second one is a bit unclear of its Canon duration and it says that the build up to the Third one is 10 years.
But like the stubborn person that I am I’m gonna say Fuck Canon and Kishi’s lack of Math and Logic.
The numbers I came up with (after comparing the ages) for the Real Durations of the War and Peace times make a little sense to me. If we take that in the 2nd one Tsunade made a fucking Improvement on Squads by entering Medic-Nin, it gave Konoha the upper hand. Peace duration also makes sense because let’s be real, given that we have Danzo as our favorite Conflict Catalyst, the other Countries were really paranoid, all that was needed was a really bad excuse or something gone really wrong.
Which brings us to the beginning of the 3rd one, Sakumo is our Scapegoat and all shit brakes loose, Minato builds up a reputation, [Cannabi is a small Catalyst for the 4th one] and the 3rd one ends because The Yellow Flash is scary AF. So this one was the quickest.
4th one, we all know how it goes.
ALSO
I would like to add that Minato graduates at age 10 from the Academy and he and the Ame Orphans have a 5 years of age difference, so I find it kinda Illogic that just when Jiraiya gets his Genin team he abandons it like nothing. So I headcanon that Minato takes only 1 year to pass the Chuunin exam because he’s one of the prodigies inside his generation, then Hanzo’s fight happens and Jiraiya stays with the Orphans (wich are 6) and Minato starts rotations with the Chuunin Corps at age 11.

Now that I finished, with these small calculations that I did, I can see clearly the ages of the other characters that were born on those periods, and I really hope this helps someone to have some age / event reference or smth. Thanks for reading!
