Reblog this and money will be entering your life this week
Just doing what i was told
I have concerns! When that fucking thing said suspect document, they didn’t even look like they checked it properly. The only excuse for that is if there’s issues with the machine, but it sure as hell seems to be in good working order, as that was the only time it happened. And even then, you should still give it a better look than that.
Also! Who the fuck does 100s in bundles of $10000? Having worked in a casino, we did 100s and 50s in bundles of 20 – $2000 and $1000 respectively. Then again, we probably were avoiding having special straps for them. Instead we just used the straps for the 20s and 10s, which we bundled by the hundred.
Maybe they do it different in other places, but as a former cashier at a casino, I’ve handled ridiculous sums of money. I still check my money – subtly – whenever I’m handed anything larger than a ten. It’s habit. So. Either they had already properly checked everything, and were just running it again for posterity, or they are not someone I would want to see working with that much money.
Madara had siblings too. (I made myself sad, but I enjoyed working on it.) If you look, you can see all the spots where I didn’t bother, but! This is the first thing I’ve posted in a while that doesn’t have lines except in the little bits of shading that are there. ♡
He said he had four brothers (and I decided that there was a sister as well), and you can only see the foot of the last one…
There’s Madara, hanging out with a bottle of something strong, and the ghosts of the past.
Four dogs, two cats and maaaybe a fox. (Didn’t see much but the flash of its eyes and the movement of brush, but it was in a spot where I see them fairly often.)

The fiber arts community is wild. The fact that there are multiple instances of yarn dyers faking their deaths… And this is just the internet era. Old school textile riots were a thing.
Tell me more!
Well, there was that thing about the Luddites. x’D
Unfortunately, my knowledge about the textile industry is kind of… scattered. Like I was reading about textiles in Japan, trying to figure out what would be reasonable to have characters in fic owning, and wearing regularly, and found out that before fairly recently, silk was hella expensive and only the rich could afford to wear it. Cotton was considered the best common people could hope for, but hemp was more common… And overused cotton tended to get recycled and sent north. So yeah. (I’d have to dig up the page I was reading from to be able to say much more on that particular bit.)

I forgot. Again. Thirteen elk – one was a majestic fucker who didn’t care about crossing the road at any decent speed – four cats, two cows and two dogs.
